TRaining in Energy Bodywork

A short course consisting of four weekends spaced out over a year. The course is taught by Paul Francis. The course draws on Paul's many years experience as a Polarity Therapy practitioner and trainer, as well as practices from shamanism, body-centerd psychotherapy, ayurveda and kundalini yoga. What underpins and unites all of these practices is an understanding of the human energy body from the Indo-European energy model. This includes the chakras and the five elements of ether, air, fire, water and earth.

The course can be taken on its own, or counted as advanced weekends towards the shamanism Practitioner Training.

The course will cover:  

details of human energy anatomy, including the fields, channels and pathways of the five elements, nervous system and reference energieshow to sense and work with energyhands-on (and some hands-off!) techniques for working with the energy flowsthe relationship between energy, thought and the bodythe energetic basis (and treatment) of diseaseshelping clients process their energy fields (working with energy through sensations, symbols, images, sounds and movements).

December 13th + 14th 2008April 25th + 26th 2009July 11th + 12th 2009November 14th + 15th 2009

Cost will be £460 for the course. Early-bird discount price is only £400, for bookings received by 1st October 2008. Deposit (non-refundable) of £100 secures a place.

 

Venue will be in Lancaster.

Further modules taking the work deeper will be offered, depending on interest.
